Effects

There are two ways to apply effects to a sound sample in Audio Evolution: in Real Time, as the sample is played, and in non-Real Time. Real-Time effects are accessed through the Mixer, while applying effects from the Sample List menu gives the non-Real Time option. Many of the effects can be applied either way. Real Time effects are extremely demanding on computer processing power, and when this is a problem, the non-Real Time versions should be used. If several tracks need the same effect, the calculations can be shared by using the Aux sends.
